Dude. What the hell. Who knew we would find some of the best BBQ we have ever had in Puerto Rico!? I don’t know if that is a testament to how great Puerto Ricans can cook or how bad Minnesota BBQ is. Either way, this place was really great.
Tender meats. Smoky. Tons of flavor. The brisket just melted in your mouth. Ribs fell off the bone. Tender pork, good bbq sauce.
The wings were delicious. Crispy, slightly sweet from the guava, slightly spicy. The soffrito ranch was an incredible sauce with a flavor I’ve never really had before.
The shining star though was for sure the pork belly though. Incredibly flavorful dry rub, melted just like the brisket and had a pineapple salsa that just brought it home.
So F’ing good. We tried to go back but it was closed. We were bummed.
