The tour begins with an interpretative hike in El Yunque, where you'll learn about Puerto Rico's fascinating flora, fauna, geography, and history. You'll also have the chance to swim in a beautiful river pool, with an optional rope swing for the adventurous. After exploring El Yunque, enjoy authentic local snacks like “empanadas” and “alcapurrias” at a traditional kiosk. On the way back, our guide will offer recommendations for restaurants and other attractions in Puerto Rico.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

 

  • Eat a good breakfast or lunch before your pickup time.

  • Water shoes are required in the water; bring flip-flops for after the tour.

  • Wear swimsuits under hiking clothes.

  • Health & Fitness: Participants must be in good health and physical condition. The terrain is uneven and slippery, and parts of the hike have inclines requiring good balance.

  • Age Requirement: 8 to 65 years old (active seniors only). Be aware of your limitations; safety first!
